The Snitchnip is a foul that rarely occurs in Quidditch. It consists of a player who is not the Seeker touching the Snitch.[1] If it occurs, the game ends and the non-touching team wins.
Etymology[]
The word nip means to touch briefly, which may be where the name, Snitchnip, comes from.
